This year will be the first, proper world book day since the pandemic. With children finally been able to dress up as characters from their favourite books and share stories with teachers and classmates. We’ve rounded up fun ideas here to make your World Book Day extra special!

We thought this was a wonderful idea, especially if you are at home with a preschooler… Reading to a pet or cuddly toy! The article suggests your child chooses the story, then as you read the story to the child, they encourage your child to stroke the pet whilst pointing out some of the detail in the pictures.
